What is a Nia White Belt Training like?
Most days are about 10 hours long. A wonderful blend of learning, sharing, dancing, taking Nia class and laughing. Because your days are so full, it is highly recommended that you minimize any outstanding agendas so that you can be fully present and enjoy the immersion into Nia. The Nia Intensive Training is highly interactive; using both cognitive and experiential learning models interwoven with the Nia Principles. When you attend you will study movement dynamics and the 52 Moves, body·mind physiology, kinesiology, movement "katas" (choreography), music appreciation, physical and X-Ray Anatomy, and more. You will also participate with other students in Community Nia Classes where you will move and witness the power of the Nia technique in practice.

Lodging/Food/Transportation
The training is split between Warren and Burlington. You are welcome to stay at the Bridges Resort (Warren) in Casey’s condo. There are various bed options and rates range from $150-250 for the week. Contact Casey directly for information and reservations. There are also various housing options in Burlington.

Food is NOT included. There are local grocery stores, cafes and eateries in both Warren and Burlington. The Bridges condo has full kitchen facilities for food prep and storage. Make sure to have lunch and snacks ready for long days. Carpooling may be available depending on accommodations, so BOOK your room.

What should I wear?
Movement clothes in layers, and you may want a change of clothes during the day’s session. Summer in Vermont can be warm, but changeable, so make sure to pack for changing weather. You need to be ready to move and sweat all day!

What happens after the training? What are the costs? Can I start teaching?

Nia Livelihood Package
The Nia Livelihood Package is a comprehensive Continuing Education program, designed to support your Nia journey. To teach or deliver Nia, purchase of the Nia Livelihood Package is required. The cost of the Livelihood package is $520, renewed annually.

**BONUS**If you register for the Green Belt at the training, the livelihood package price is waved as a gift to you. Highly recommended for those on the teacher track.
